We went to feed the ducks a few days ago, and Brandi finally got up the nerve to let the duck take the bread out of her hand.

Camera Critters ~ 45

Last weekend, we were at my dad's house, and he lives on a lake. The kids convinced him to take the boat out, so off we went. There were these power towers, and last year a crane made a nest on one of them. This year, there were two nests, and two cranes.

The next shot was taken about three minutes after the one up top, but we had moved a little closer on the other side. One of the cranes got spooked by the boat, and flew up a little. If you look close, you can barely see it right above the other one, on the next bar up. I just love the way the sky looks in this one.

I look at him, and I think Hakuna Matata! (not sure it's spelled that way) We were able to feed this bad boy, and he drooled all over the kids hands. It was pretty disgusting, but they had fun. I just thank goodness for hand sanitizer.

I love this frog.
It doesn't look real, does it?
I think it looks like it's made of cement, like it should be sitting in my garden as a decoration, not hanging out on a tree branch at the zoo.
I wish I could remember what the "real" name was...next time I need to write these things down!

I wasn't going to post a cc over here today, but we went to the lake and I took this picture and just had to share it. Look at all those babies! These were only a few of the little ducks on the lake. Brandi wanted Junior to try and catch one so she could take it home. I wish we could have because they were adorable.

I took this picture at Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC during the Summer. This alligator was just being lazy in the sun. In fact, all the animals that day were being lazy. It was so hot!
