Look At This Face!

Carson, my nephew. This kid has got my heart wrapped around his little finger. I was having just as much fun as he was playing in the park. He was sticking his face through one of three holes that were in a tube. I was ducking, and then jumping up and scaring him and my niece who were inside.
Here's a shot of my beautiful niece, Tristin-Grace. They were laughing so hard, and I gotta tell you...that is the best sound in the world.

What A Week!

I can't believe it's only Thursday. This week feels like it has been thirty days long. With the kids home, I have not been on my schedule. And you all know how important my schedule is to me. I think it has caught up with the kids, too, because it's almost 10am and the girls are still sleeping.

My phone has been ringing off the hook this past week, too. I usually don't mind the kids friends calling, but when they call and hang up, it gets a little frustrating. I used a reverse phone search
to find out about one number, and it turned out to be one of Brandi's little friends. She didn't know what to say when I answered the phone. She was expecting Brandi to answer. I can see how that could be confusing to a six year old.

I am really looking forward to them going back to school on Monday. Then the following Sunday is Easter. We are planning on going to my mom's house. It's going to be crowded, but fun. I love seeing my nephew, and he loves my kids. They always have a good time when we get together. In fact, last weekend, Colleen came and got the girls, and they spent the day playing with Carson while Colleen and her husband cleaned. They want to get their house on the market, and had a lot to do. I was shocked that Brandi went and spent the day without me. I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction for her.

Raspberries

Kids love raspberries!

Carson and Brandi were taking turns giving each other raspberries on their bellies.

Carson came over and gave me one on my arm.

I love the age he is now, where he finds things funny.

While we were at the park the other day, he was saying pee-pee, and then dying laughing!

It was too funny!

The Little Man

A self-portrait.

When we were bowling on Monday, Carson got very upset when it wasn't his turn.

To keep him from screaming, I gave him my camera.

He took some pictures.

This is my favorite! lol!

High Hopes

I planned on making the gingerbread cookies with the kids today, but things don't always go as planned. Right now I am sitting at my sister's while Brandi plays with Carson. Ryan and Kasi are home alone, and as far as I know have not killed each other. It's nice to get out of the house and have adult conversation, so I am enjoying my afternoon, and am in no rush to get home. Colleen has a project planned for Carson involving pine cones and glitter, so we may stay and help with that.

Let me run....colleen is almost done vacuuming, and I don't want to be rude by sitting here typing! Enjoy your Sunday!
