Picture Frames ~ Hearts On Both Sides

I don't know why this picture is so blurry...the others came out great. Anyway, this frame was made to go the way it's pictures. It had multicolored hearts going down both sides. I used the bright colors again, with white dotted borders around each heart. I might try this one on a white frame, too, for the girls.

Picture Frames ~ Hearts

I made this one with hearts.

I really like this one. It think it is kinda playful and fun.

I used bright colors, and outlined them each with white dots.

This one can only go one way, obviously.

I think I am going to make a bunch for myself when I am done with these.

Blood Pressure Issues

The last time I went to the clinic, they said my blood pressure was high. This was unusual for me, because I have always has low blood pressure. I remember when I was pregnant, the nurse told me several times that I had enviable blood pressure, especially for a big girl. I think that was her nice way of saying that because I was, and still am, fat, that my blood pressure should have been worse. The clinic sent me for blood work because of the high blood pressure, and everything came back fine. Since then, I have been checking it myself whenever I go into the pharmacy to pick up Ryan's medicines. Sometimes it is high, and sometimes it is low. I really need to get a blood pressure monitor to keep at home, so I can check it at the same time every day. I hear that's the best way to get true readings.

It concerns me, too, that Junior's has been high. His dad has had heart problems for years, and it worries me that Junior is headed down the same road. This is one of the main reasons I'm wanting us both to lose weight. We did go for a walk today while the kids were in school, and even though it wasn't nearly as long as I would have liked, it is a step in the right direction.

Healthy Heart

There are so many people nowadays who have heart problems. It is common now for cardiac patients to be told to exercise. It makes sense, since exercise strengthens the heart. However, too much exercise can have the opposite effect and overwork the heart. To find the right balance, heart monitors are used.

There is a new strapless heart rate monitor now available that makes it easier to wear while exercising. It goes on your wrist, and uses a fingertip sensor. It comes with PC software that you can download, so that you can share your results with your doctors. This Advanced Heart Rate Monitor will make it easier to walk or run, because you will not have to worry about bulky chest straps getting in the way.

If you are a cardiac rehab patient, this Advanced Heart Rate Monitor may be perfect for you.
