It's summer vacation, and he has nothing to do. That's all I have been hearing the past week or so. I told him he could go outside and organize Junior's tools, and he thought that was a good idea until he saw how many tools Junior has. They are just thrown in buckets and totes, even though he has two different tool boxes. Ryan decided that until we have some Orlando Cabinets installed in the shed, he isn't touching the tools. He claims there is nowhere to put them all.
My mom called last night and asked us if we are allowed to put up a pool, because she found one on sale and wants to buy it for us. I told her we would have to ask the management company, and I am hoping they say we can. That would give the kids something to do every day besides bugging me. It would also be nice to be outside, and be cool at the same time. I have been writing about how much I miss having a pool, and really want to put one up. It's a twelve by thirty six, so it's not too big. Just perfect for the kids to hang out in. I am debating about whether I would allow Ryan and Kasi to watch Brandi if I am inside, but I really don't think I would. She is only seven, and it would only take a second for them to not be paying attention for something to happen to her.I don't want to take that chance.
I guess this means I get to enjoy the pool, too.

Heaven

When we get our own place eventually, I am going to hire Pool contractors to come in and design a pool for me. I want waterfalls, a diving board, and maybe even a hot tub. I know they can do so many things to make pools unique to each individual. My sister looked at Walnut Creek pools last year when she had a pool installed. I haven't seen it yet, because she lives in New York, but I know she had a lot of brick work done, and the pool is not the normal rectangular shape that most in ground pools are. I think she looked at Modesto pools, too. I want to look at everything that is available when the time comes for me to get a pool, because I want to make an informed decision. I wonder if you can get a purple liner put in?

I Want A Pool!
I want a pool.
I want to be able to swim everyday.
I want to enjoy lounging in the sun, floating in the crystal clear water.
I know it won't happen anytime soon.
This is the first full summer we will be spending here at the apartment. I know for a fact we are not allowed to have a real, hard sided pool. I am hoping we can get away with one of those blue do it yourself pools, but who knows. We don't pay the water bill, it's included in our rent, so they might get upset if we fill a pool.
One day I hope to have a beautiful in-ground pool. I was looking at Napa pools and they have some gorgeous designs. I would want beautiful landscaping around it, with a diving board and a slide for the kids. I remember growing up, we had a four foot pool. Our house was pretty popular during the summer months. We weren't as popular as those kids who had in-ground pools, but I think having the four foot was perfect for us. You could play better games in our pool. Although, nothing beats diving to fetch those sticks that sink in the in-ground pools.
Listen to me. I am babbling. I am going to check out some Walnut Creek pools and San Jose pools so I can dream and drool a little. I am sure someday we will have our dream pool. I just wish someday was tomorrow.
