I finally finished the blankets I've been working on. The first one is big and fluffy and beautiful. This one is much smaller. I seem to have a problem judging size. It is perfect car seat size. You know, for those chilly days when you want to cover baby.So, miss donna, you're getting both!

I just finished this baby blanket for my sister's friend. It's white, pink and purple, with a ruffle border. It took me 2 days to complete. It's 24 inches by 24 inches.

Key Holders

The words are hand carved (well, using my roto-zip) into the wood, then I painted the flowers and stuff. All by me, by hand.

It's Not Perfect

Here's my first knitting project. You can tell in the pictures, that the left front is a tad longer than the right front. I guess I didn't count too well when I did the edging. But I think when I get the snaps on, it will line up better. The pattern says to use snaps, because I didn't do button holes. I might use buttons on top of the snaps just to make it look cute. What do you think?

Could It Be?

Does it kinda look like it will be a sweater? Well, if all goes right it will. I have been doing this since yesterday. The first time I tired, I did like 25 rows, and realized the pattern was off somehow, so I ripped it up and started again. This time it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. Can you tell there is a pattern to it? I hope it turns out okay. My mom came over the other day and said knitting was hard, and that I should stick to crochet. Yeah, you know this needs to look good now, just to prove her wrong! So if I don't post for a few days, it's because I'm wrapped up in a big purple ball of yarn...and lovin' every second!
