Guessing Game

Mariuca is giving away entrecard credits, and it is really easy to get in on the fun.

Recently, entrecard announced that members couldn't have more than 100,000 credits in their accounts. Apparently, Mariuca has more than that, and decided that hosting a contest was a great way to get rid of those extra credits. To enter, all you have to do is guess how many credits she has in her account. You get three guesses, and as a hint, she let us know that those guesses should be within the 100,000 to 150,000 range.

Coloring Contest

Brandi's school had a coloring contest, and here she is proudly showing off her entry.

I would think that in second grade they had better things to do, but whatever.

Christmas is right around the corner, and I am totally stressing about money, as I am sure most of you are. We started buying a few things over the weekend, and hopefully by the time Christmas comes around, we will have a few things under the tree. Stouffer's Giveaway

The kids go back to school in less than a week. There are so many reasons why this makes me happy, the main one being that I will save money on groceries. For the past few years, my kids have qualified for free lunch. This means that they can eat breakfast and lunch at school, and it won't cost me anything. Brandi likes to bring a salad for lunch every day, but that is simple and cheap.

Since I no longer have to feed three kids two meals every day, I can start buying my favorite lunches again, which are Lean Cuisines. My favorite is the spinach and mushroom pizza, but I am always willing to try their newest varieties. Stouffers has recently put out four new varieties of their panini's, and I can honestly say that they look and sound delicious. I have eaten their panini's in the past, but not how I should. Instead of putting the two pieces of bread together, making a sandwich, I eat each piece by itself. Talk about yummy!

Blu Frog Is The Way To Go

It seems like everyone is drinking one kind of energy drink or another. I will admit that I have shied away from them, mostly because I don't drink anything with caffeine. If I drink one 20 ounce bottle of soda with caffeine, I end up not being able to sleep that night. I think my body is just super sensitive to it.

Junior likes to drink energy drinks. His new shift has him getting up at 3am, and sometimes he finds himself needing a little pick me up on his way to work. These drinks are not cheap, and he is dropping a few dollars for each one. What I need to do is get some to keep at home, that way he can just grab one and go, and not even have to stop on his way to work.

I was lucky enough a few months ago to get a couple of BluFrog energy drinks to sample. I was brave and took a sip, just to see what it tasted like, and it was good. It had a citrus taste, kind of like a flat Mountain Dew. I let each of the kids get a sip, too, and they all liked it. Junior drank an entire can, and he liked it too.

Junior said he never had that crash that other energy drinks are known for, and it seemed to keep his energy level constant.
