Part Smurf?

A guy that works with Junior gave Ryan a bed for his room. It is a bunk bed, with a twin on the top, and a full on the bottom. It came complete with mattresses, which is awesome. The only thing it cost Junior is doing a tune up on the guys car.

Not a bad deal.

The only thing is that the bed is metal, painted blue, which Ryan hates. He wants it black. So last weekend, him and Kasi started sanding off the blue paint so he can spray paint it black. As you can see, Kasi got a little one her face.

When she came in the house, I told her she looked like she was part Smurf. She looked at me like I had lost my mind, then shook her head and walked away.

I guess I kind of dated myself, and she had no idea what I was talking about. But, I hear there is a Smurf movie in the works, so maybe when it comes out, she will understand what I said.

Freebies

I love free stuff.

There, I said it.

Even if it is just sample sized stuff, I still love it all. I love the shampoo and conditioner samples the best, because it saves me from buying a big bottle of a new brand, only to find out that it doesn't work well on my hair.

I know there are lots of sites online that list daily freebies, but my favorite is shop4freebies.com. They list only the free samples that are completely free, and I have gotten a whole bunch of great stuff because of them. I highly recommend signing up for their daily emails. With just one click, I can see each days list of freebies.

And I love free stuff.

I spent a good part of last week trying to get my mother's computer online. It is an old computer, with windows me on it, and it just wouldn't cooperate. After a very frustrating hour or two on Tuesday night, I told her I would just bring her my old computer, and she could use that until my brother could upgrade hers. It took us two tries, and two days, to finally get her all hooked up. She was so excited. It had been a while since she could surf the internet, and she didn't know what to do first.

She has always been curious about all the free stuff I find online. I will admit to bragging every now and then when I find a great, free product. So I sat with her, and we searched for free stuff. I was able to find a few sites that I have used in the past, and then we found this new to me promotional products blog. It's a great source for finding all the promotional things companies are doing. I found a really cool TMNT cheese mold for easy cheese. My nephews would love that. This site gives you a heads up on what products are giving away promotional things, and let's face it, we all love free stuff. I especially love it when a product I already use offers a promotional product that makes it easier to use that product. Wow, that was a tongue twister right there, but i think you get the point.
