I used to hate shopping for clothes. Before my breast reduction, nothing ever fit right. I couldn't find bras that were big enough, so I tried to wear clothes baggy so people couldn't tell. Doing so just made me look a whole lot bigger than I am. Now, I am in no way saying I am not a big girl, because I am. I am just saying that by wearing baggy clothes, I made myself look bigger.
I recently went clothes shopping, and was pleasantly surprised when I was trying on Miss Me Jeans three sizes smaller than I used to wear, and they fit. Did I forget to mention that I have recently lost almost 50 pounds? That helps my clothes fit better, too.
I am sure that you have heard that a finding a great pair of Joes Jeans means finding a pair that shows off your butt. As much as I believe this, I don't think my butt will look good in anything, let alone a pair of jeans. So I judge jeans by how they look on my legs. I am short, so finding a pair that aren't too long is a challenge, and when I find a pair I love, I wear them until they fall apart. So finding a Seven Jeans Sale is awesome, because I can stock up.
How do you judge jeans? Do you prefer comfort over your butt looking good?

Ryan Bought A Laptop
A couple of weeks ago we bought Ryan a laptop. Well, I say we, but he saved up his own money and paid for half of it, and the rest was his birthday gift from us. We bought it at Best Buy, after I did a lot of checking online to see who had the best deal. You would think that while doing my research it would have occurred to me to look for coupons I could use, but it never did. After all the times I have written about how cheap I am, and how much I love using coupons, I totally flaked out on finding one this time. Let's just say it was a blond moment.
Of course, I found a bunch of Best Buy Coupons after the fact. That's just the way my life goes. I always find a better deal after the fact. But from now on, I am going to try and remember to find coupons for everything I buy, not just my groceries. I think that was my problem. It didn't register with me that all kinds of stores use coupons, not just grocery stores.
Ryan loves his laptop, though, which is the important thing. He even lets me borrow it sometimes. Of course, I usually have to beg a little bit first.

I Want New Glasses
That's right. I said I want, not I need. I have been wearing the same pair of glasses for a while now, and I think I am ready for something new. My eyes have not changed, so I don't need a new eye exam. I just want new glasses.
I found this purple pair of eyeglasses at Zenni Optical. If anyone knows me, they know that purple is my favorite color. Do you think I could pull them off? The best thing about this pair of glasses is that they only cost $8. That's right, I said $8. That means I can buy them, try them out, and if I don't really like them, I have only wasted a few dollars.
I know most of you are thinking that the quality must be poor if they are that cheap, but that couldn't be further from the truth. These are well made glasses that can be offered to us, the public, at reasonable rates, because Zenni has no overhead, no middleman, and they make the glasses themselves. If you don't want to take my word for it, check out this article for yourself.
I am going to give them a try. I mean, I really don't have much to lose. If you are looking for cheap glasses, I suggest you give them a try, too. I bet we will all be happy with our new glasses.

Which Formula Is Better?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.
I went to the store the other day with my sister to buy formula for Lylah. She has been exclusively breastfeeding, but the doctor took her off dairy, so her back supply of milk was no longer good for the baby. This meant that she needed to have something to supplement her when she wasn't home at feeding time.So we stood in front of the formulas, trying to decide which was best. I am not sure if any of you have had to buy formula recently, but there are a whole lot more varieties now than there were when my kids were infants. To be honest, I was a little overwhelmed. I was also shocked at the prices. I guess I only thought it was expensive eight years ago. The can my sister finally decided on was pretty small, and she paid over $20 for it. I tried talking her into buying the store brand, but she didn't think that was as good as the name brand. I believed it was, and this led me to do a little research.
Turns out, I was right. The store brand formulas are the same, nutritiously, as the name brands. They have to be because they all have to meet very strict FDA guidelines. In fact, PBM Products just won a lawsuit against Mead Johnson for false advertising. It seems Mead Johnson was claiming that their formulas were superior to the store brands, and the store brands fought back. This is a huge deal, I think, because it proves that you can save money by buying the store brands.
In my sister's case, the store brand was about $10 cheaper. If you add that up over the course of a year, it totals hundreds of dollars in savings. I can things of a lot of things I would rather do with my money. How about you?

Sony Discounts
I want a new computer. Did you notice how I said want, and not need? That is because there is nothing wrong with the computer I have. In fact, I love my computer. It has been very good to me. I guess it would be better to say that I want a new monitor for this computer. I have been drooling over those nice flat screen monitors, and hopefully I can get my hands on one soon. I also want a laptop. We were going to get one last February, but other things needed attention first. This coming February, I am getting one for myself. I will consider it my birthday present to myself.
I found some coupons for Sony discounts, so now I can save some money on the things I am wanting. I was surprised to discover all the coupon codes that can found online. We don't buy big purchases often, but when we do, I want to get the best deal possible. Using coupons is an easy way to get the things I want for less.
The next time you need to buy something, big or small, check online for coupons. You may be able to save a bunch of money.
