Tristan Trains As A Therapy Dog
Brandi has recently showed a love for dogs, which is weird since up until recently, she has been terrified of them. I thought that if I could find some inspirational books about dogs I could get her to read them. I found this book, Tristan Trains as a Therapy Dog: A Tristan and Trudee Story, and I think it is something she will love. It is the story of Tristan, a fluffy white bichon frise dog, who learn how to become a therapy dog. Brandi will be able to read along as Tristan learns how to be a good therapy dog, and cheer as he takes his test. It's weird that I found this now, because my therapist is actually training her puppy to be a therapy dog, and Brandi has shown such a interest in that little puppy.
The book is geared towards kids a little younger than her, but I think she will enjoy it nonetheless.

Books By Anne, a lay Apostle
I know I need to branch out, and this is where you come in. Leave me a comment telling me who your favorite author is, and why. You can even suggest books for me to read.
I look forward to seeing what you have to say!

Book Meme

1. To mark your page you: use a bookmark, bend the page corner, leave the book open face down?
Use a bookmark! I am a little obsessive about this, and if you borrow a book from me (which doesn't happen often because I hate lending them out ever since my sister lost a few) and bend my pages, you will never borrow another one. Most times, I just use the book jacket to hold me place...it works wonderfully!
I probably should have read all the questions before I started answering, but as I stated above, I am picky about who I lend my books to. My mom is one of the only people I let borrow any.
3. You find an interesting passage: you write in your book or NO WRITING IN BOOKS!
Um, no writing in books....
4. Dust jackets - leave it on or take it off?
As I stated above, I use them as bookmarks, so they stay.
5. Hard cover, paperback, skip it and get the audio book?
I prefer hardbacks, because they look better in my bookshelves, but it all depends on the price.
6. Do you shelve your books by subject, author, or size and color of the book spines?
I have mine arranged by author.
7. Buy it or borrow it from the library later?
I like to buy books, that way if I love it, I can read it over and over again. There are several Dean Koontz books I read often, as well as the Twilight Series.
8. Do you put your name on your books - scribble your name in the cover, fancy bookplate, or stamp?
Again, no writing in books!
9. Most of the books you own are rare and out of print books or recent publications?
I don't have any rare books...mine are mostly mystery/horror type stuff.
10. Page edges - deckled or straight?
since I don't know what deckled is, I'm going to say I don't really care.
One at a time...I become totally engrossed in what I am reading, and live in that world, so one at a time works for me.
12. Be honest, ever tear a page from a book?
No. Wait, I think I did from an old textbook for a project in Junior High.
