Junior's Gift From The Girls
Kasi and Brandi decided that Junior needed a log cabin for Father's Day, so they build one for him. It is made of Popsicle sticks. I "helped" a little with the roof, and then they painted it all pretty.
This is Kasi's side.

Tummy Troubles
Both girls are home from school today. They both had really bad stomach aches last night, and didn't sleep at all. They are feeling a little better this morning, but I didn't want to take any chances. I was hoping they would sleep later, but that didn't happen.
Maybe I can talk them into a nap later....

What A Week!
I can't believe it's only Thursday. This week feels like it has been thirty days long. With the kids home, I have not been on my schedule. And you all know how important my schedule is to me. I think it has caught up with the kids, too, because it's almost 10am and the girls are still sleeping.
My phone has been ringing off the hook this past week, too. I usually don't mind the kids friends calling, but when they call and hang up, it gets a little frustrating. I used a reverse phone search
to find out about one number, and it turned out to be one of Brandi's little friends. She didn't know what to say when I answered the phone. She was expecting Brandi to answer. I can see how that could be confusing to a six year old.
I am really looking forward to them going back to school on Monday. Then the following Sunday is Easter. We are planning on going to my mom's house. It's going to be crowded, but fun. I love seeing my nephew, and he loves my kids. They always have a good time when we get together. In fact, last weekend, Colleen came and got the girls, and they spent the day playing with Carson while Colleen and her husband cleaned. They want to get their house on the market, and had a lot to do. I was shocked that Brandi went and spent the day without me. I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction for her.

Sun Catchers ~ Finished
I let the sun catchers sit overnight, and sure enough, they dried out. They really did come out pretty. I wish this computer would let me download the pictures, but they will have to wait. The finished products are proudly being displayed on our front door. It was over seventy degrees today, so the sun was shining through them, making them sparkle even more. I even talked the girls into letting me do one! lol! It was fun!

Our Gingerbread House
Me and the girls put together our gingerbread house this morning. Ryan, at 13, is too old for such things. Well, he's the one that missed out, because we had fun!
I learned the hard way that once you have it together, leave it alone!
Boo dropped a piece of candy into the tray, and I lifted the house so she could get it.
It fell apart in my hands!
We got it back together, and this is how it ended up.
