Junior Would Wear A Watch

Junior got another three Homer awards at work, which means he is getting another $50 bonus.  No watch this time, which is a good thing.  He still hasn't worn the one they gave him for his last 9 Homer awards.  It's not that he doesn't like it; it's just that he doesn't like the strap.  He is a simple guy, and the metal links are too fancy for him.  He prefers a leather strap.

29 Days

My birthday is coming up. Is it wrong that at almost 38 I am still excited that my birthday is approaching? I might feel differently in a couple of years when I am turning 40, but for now I like feeling excited about it.

I also know what I want this year. Last month, Junior got an awesome watch from his work. It was actually an award for great customer service. It is beautiful, and it got me to wanting a new watch. The one I have needs a battery, and to be honest, it has seen better days.

So I started looking around online, and I found these great seiko dive watches, but they didn't have any in a woman's style. That means Junior has twenty seven days to order this so that I have it on my birthday. I wonder what kind of hints I have to drop to get him to read this post. Maybe I will just print it out and tape it to the van's steering wheel.

Replica Watches

Christmas is in two days, and I still haven't gotten Junior anything for Christmas. I think at this point whatever I decide to get him, he will be getting it after Christmas.

I was thinking that he may like a watch, but most of the name brands are so expensive. I did findbrietling replica, which are just as good as the brand name, but not as expensive. I can save a lot of money, and I don't think anyone would notice that it is a replica.

I am not sure which type he would like best, though, so I might have to have him take a look before I order one. I would hate to get one that he won't wear.

New Watch

I have a watch that I wear almost all the time. It is brown. I wear mostly black. Brown and black don't usually go together, so I want to find a nice black watch.

I found this Patek Philippe and almost had a heart attack when I saw the list price: $218,900. That's insane! I could buy two houses with that kind of money. I will admit that it is a beautiful watch, as are all the ones I looked at. I just can not justify paying that much.

Maybe if I win the lottery one day I will buy it. For now, I will have to settle for just admiring how beautiful it is. Unless, of course, one of you would like to buy it for me? It would make a wonderful Christmas gift!

A Watch For Father's Day

Father's Day is this Sunday. The kids have been busy making cards and gifts to give to their daddy on Sunday morning. I think they are planning to make him breakfast in bed, but we'll see. I'm hoping to be able to go out to breakfast.

The kids and I have been searching for the perfect gift to get Junior. I know he loves the things the kids make for him, but the kids love buying stuff for him, too. Most years it's something related to fishing, but this year I want to do something different. If I had the money, I would buy him a Rolex. I know, I know. Now that Mother's Day is past, the stores are already putting out the Father's Day gifts. I am horrible at picking out mens gifts. I never have any clue what to get Junior, or my own dad. for Father's Day. The kids are out of school before then, so they don't have the handmade stuff to give like they do for me on Mother's Day. I think this year I might get them to do some crafty stuff at home, maybe make home made cards or something.

Valentine's Ideas

Valentine's Day is only a couple of weeks away. Junior and I don't usually exchange gifts, but I think this year I might drop some hints about things I would like to have. I usually ask for things that we need around this house, but I think this year I will hint around for something for me. A girl can never feel special enough, you know?

I already have a watch, but it has a plain gold face and brown band. I am loving this silver and purple watch. It is so beautiful and elegant. It has a mother of pearl face with 32 pink sapphires around it. They say pink, but they look purple to me. Either way, I would love to own this watch.
