i LOVE this!! i think the ribbon is extra sweet!! i wouldn't change a thing about it... and since you said you baked the ribbon , then it definitely will last a LONG time... my mom had made barrets for me and my sister once with baked ribbon that she curled around a knitting needle. :)
I LOVE this!! are you making these to sell or for gifts??? if you are selling them how much are you asking??
xoxoxoxo
I will miss you. we leave in a few hours. i'm not ready. ugh. as usually, lately... i used to be so much better at this. i'm not sure what the deal is. but i better just get over and get a move on.
i will check in on sunday or monday... you won't be "here" but you'll be here... with your pre-thought out posts!! :)
have a great wkend and good wk. enjoy your tv and i'll see you soon.
jenn ~ a few years ago, I made them for all my nieces and nephews for christmas. It was the biggest hit of the year! The bigger kids loved them to hang in their rooms, and the little ones were excited to have something with "their" name on it! So now every baby gets a name sign from me! This is the first time I've used the ribbon, and I love the way it looks. Everything I make is for sale. BUT....I would totally make some for your girls and trevor, just because I love ya! Let me know what colors you want, 'kay???? Then you could do a lovely post on your blog, sending people to this blog, and maybe I'd sell some that way. Just a thought....

I love the craft, but think the ribbon will lose it's curl over time.
I think it looks great and girlie but I to think that over time the ribbon will lose its curl
I "baked" the ribbon, it's satin, so it should be good for a while, plus it can be removed...it's just tied in a bow onto the ribbon to hang it.
