I love my husband. I really do. But he has a tendency to break things.
Tonight he broke my cable box.
He broke it bad enough that they couldn't troubleshoot it over the phone, so I have to have a technician come out and look at it tomorrow.
He'll be here between 9 and 11 am.
When I am normally sleeping.
Hopefully he will show up closer to 9, and I can still get a couple of hours sleep before the kids get home from school.

Great Deal From Dish Network
I have cable.
I got a flier in my mail the other day informing me that my cable company may be filing for bankruptcy. This is after years of price increases that made no sense to me. In August, we are coming to the end of our twelve month deal, and we will have to decide whether or not we want to continue with them, or get a satellite.
I was checking out Dish Network deals, and right now they have an awesome deal going on, where you get free installation and over 100 channels, including HBO and Showtime for $9.99 a month for six months. That is way better than what I am paying now.
I think it might be time to make the switch from cable to satellite.

My New Box
Junior came home without a new cable box. He went in to exchange it, and they told him because the account is in my name, and his name isn't on it, they couldn't help him. So we had to wait on Brandi to get off the bus, and head back over there. It took all of three minutes for them to change the box out, and I was out the door. It's all hooked up now, and the girls are happy to have all the channels back.

Box Issues
My cable box died.
The girls were in my room watching Spongebob, and it just completely quit working. Normally, one phone call would fix the problem...they can zap it back to life through the cable wire.
Not this time.
It could not be revived.
So after work Junior is going to swing by the cable company and get me a new box. Then go pay ou rent, then go pay our power bill...all while I enjoy the day inside, away from the sun.
My shoulders and arms and chest are still on fire.....

Cable Hook Up
When we had cable installed in the apartment, the guy who came out the first time had no clue what he was doing. It was a Friday, and he was more interested in getting his paycheck cashed than hooking up my cable. I know this because he told me. He ended up leaving, saying he would be back.
He never came back.
I called to have another guys come out, and he did a half way decent job. He got some of the wires into the house, but not into all of the rooms. Junior decided just to do it himself. Luckily, compression f connectors from ICM are easy to install, and he was able to get all the televisions hooked up. It's a good thing compression connector had all the things we needed to get the job done. If you have connector needs, check out their stock. They have a variety products, so you can find exactly what you are looking for.
