Hot Tub Dreams

Junior and I are already discussing how we are going to spend our tax return next year. That is the one time of year that we allow ourselves to make a big purchase. I was hoping that we would be buying a pool, but it doesn't look like we will be moving before then. I want a laptop, but that should only cost a few hundred dollars. Junior wants a little fishing boat, but he says this every year, but then when the time comes, he doesn't want to spend the money. I am trying to talk him into getting a portable spa. This would be perfect for us, and would be just as good as a pool. We could get one that sits six people, so we would all be able to enjoy it at the same time. We had a jacuzzi tub in a place we used to live, and it was so relaxing. I was bad about getting in it, turning the television on, and relaxing for an hour or two. It was especially nice when I was pregnant with Brandi. Nothing felt better than the jets shooting water on my aching back.

Now my goal is to find a cheap hot tub that we can afford. I just hope February comes quick.

Hawaii

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I have thought about this, and if money were no object, I would want to live in Hawaii. I would love to be able to swim in the beautiful beaches, see all the gorgeous volcanoes, and maybe even learn to surf. I love the palm trees, and laid back lifestyle. I would have to lose this weight before I would wear a swimsuit, but hey, we're dreaming, right? So I could just dream up a personal trainer to help me with that. Or heck, I could just dream me up a perfect body!

I even went as far as looking into Honolulu Real Estate and was a little surprised at the price of living there. It's so expensive, but so worth it. Of course, this means that my dreams of living there will always be just a dream. That's okay, though, cause I like where I'm living now, too.

My Dream House

Isn't this Bathroom Vanity gorgeous? I love the bowl look. It kind of looks old fashioned, but still modern with the sleek white, mirrored shelf along side. I am a sucker for white in a bathroom. To me it is just a cleaner look, and I like for my bathroom to look clean.

We are renters right now, but I spend a lot of time dreaming about what my future house will look like someday. The bathroom, of course, would have a double sink vanity so that Junior would have his own sink to make a mess in. I absolutely hate having to wipe up his stray hairs after he trims his beard. Maybe if he has his own sink, that he is responsible for keeping clean, he will realize how annoying those little hairs can be. And don't even get me started about the kids and toothpaste. They just need their own bathroom altogether, where I will put a vanity that I can just hose down. I'm pretty sure it's not just my kids who are slobs. Maybe I should design a bathroom that is self cleaning. Oh, just imagine the money I would make!

I would have guest bathrooms in my dream house, and they would have modern bathroom vanities. They would all be white, of course, but each would be different. Each bathroom would be a different color. And I guess while I'm dreaming, I can imagine that I have a maid who keeps all these bathrooms clean.
