Van Insurance

We just bought a new van. Not a mini-van, but a full sized van, complete with television and VCR. Yes, I said VCR. I told Junior we need to replace that with a DVD player, because most of our movies are on DVD's now. We did face a problem when we tried to switch over our car insurance. It seems that insurance agencies are refusing to insure vans because too many people are living in them. We should have looked into Amica Insurance. Our agent finally found us insurance, but warned us not to be surprised if the insurance company sends someone out to take pictures of the van in a few months. They want to make sure we're not living in it.

Wow really? I mean I know more and more people are losing their homes right now.

What I didn't know is that insurance companies are refusing to insure Vans.

You know they lobbied for years and years until it became mandatory that everyone has to buy insurance for their vehicle.

Please don't misunderstand that last statement. I think everyone should have insurance.

But what does make me really upset is that they got the law, they have made billions of dollars, because of the law, and now they have the audacity to refuse covering people with Mini vans.

I can tell you this good news though. you won't regret the choice to get one with the DVD player.

It is a sanity saver when you have kids in the car. Especially for long trips.

Good luck and I hope you have a good week!!:-)))
