High School Memories

It's that time of year again. High school students all over are getting ready to go to their prom. Girls are buying dresses, and guys are renting tuxedos. I never did figure out how girls have to spend hundreds of dollars on dresses, when the guys spend about $75 on a tux. Doesn't really seem fair, does it?

I guess the guys do get stuck paying for things like Boston Limousines and corsages. I remember my senior prom. We rented a Boston Limousine and spend the night in New York City. It was me and my date, and two of my best friends and their dates. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe, and drove past all the sites of the city. That was the first time I had been in the city with just my friends, and it was an amazing night. Too bad my date turned out to be such an idiot.

I spent many more days in the City after that. We saw a lot of concerts at Madison Square Garden, and always took the train in from Long Island. We looked into using Boston Limousine Service or taking taxi's around the city, but it was more fun to walk around on our own. I remember one time we got so lost, and when we asked people for directions, they would lie to us. We ended up about an hour late for a show because of that. If I remember correctly, we were seeing the circus that day. It was a good thing we didn't miss the elephant rides.

I am so glad I have a few more years before I have to worry about getting Aurora a prom dress. Man they are expensive!
