We went fishing again this afternoon. Junior wanted to try out a new lake, but when we got there they were closing for the day, even though it was 90 minutes earlier than what the sign said closing time was. Oh well, what can you do?
So we went back to lake Cherokee. Ryan and Kasi both caught a couple of fish, and me, Junior and Brandi left without catching anything. Brandi was mad, too.
We tried to explain to her how sometimes you just have bad fishing days, and you don't catch anything. She responded with:
"when you were a kid, how did you feel when your brother and sister caught fish and you didn't? HUH?"
Picture that with hands on her hips and tears in her eyes.
We promised to go again next week, and hopefully she will have better luck.

Jenn, I think the world of you and Junior for taking time and spending it with your kids the way you do, you guys rock as parents!!!
As for Brandi, that girl makes me giggle with every story!
